So Susan - Wide Awake

So I thought I would do a review on the So Susan Wide Awake palette that I received in my September Joliebox.

When I first opened this I thought the packaging was really cute and girly. I have now been using it for a couple of weeks and don't think it's brilliant!  Both the illuminating cream and the highlighting cream feel quite greasy and crease when you put them on your skin. They kind of felt like a product you'd buy from Claire's accessories when you were younger - if you know what I mean?
The Eyebrow sculpting colours are a bit odd - the top and the bottom one are shimmery and one of them is a purply colour and the other is an olivey colour - the middle one is OK though! The tweezers that come with this palette are probably the only thing that I'd actually use!

So overall not a brilliant product - I have never heard of this brand and can't actually find this product online but I think I have looked before and it was £15.00 - which I personally wouldn't pay for this.
I have been on the So Susan website and cant find a shop or anything where you can buy their products either!
I would like to try some other So Susan products to see if I like any of them!

Have you tried any So Susan Products - I'd be interested to hear what you thought of them!

Molton Brown

Beauty on trial sent me some products from Molton Brown's new range to review. I was really excited to try these as I always hear people raving on about Molton Brown products.

I choose the volumising products as I have really fine hair and I always struggle to get
volume!
After using the shampoo and conditioner I blow dried my hair. My hair felt lovely and smooth and looked really shiny, it did give me more volume than I'd usually get, without going greasy - I often find that volumising shampoos and conditioners do make your hair feel slightly greasy.
Overall I thought the products were lovely, nice packaging, quality products. The only downside is that when I went onto the Molton Brown website to see the price of these they retail at £18.00 each (300ml). Now I don't know if it just me but I would never pay £36.00 for a shampoo and a conditioner, I do like the products a lot so if I suddenly won lots of money then I probably would but unfortunately for now once I have run out of these I will have to go back to my usual Herbal Essences!

Seventh Heaven

I have been using MeMeMe's seventh heaven now for 3 days and I think it's amazing. I have always used Clarins HydraQuench and thought that I'd never find anything better but I have!

Seventh heaven is a moisturising face base. It has the most amazing citrus scent and really works on my dry skin! My makeup also goes on so smoothly on top of the seventh heaven cream. My partner who never notices my skin/makeup even said "your make up looks nice today" and when I asked him what he meant he said "your skin looks smoother" - this must be good if he noticed! The packaging is really cute as is all of MeMeMe's packaging.

On the back of the box -"Rich yet lightweight the Moisturising Facebase is enriched with Shea Butter, Vitamin A and Beta-Carotene to rejuvenate, nourish and hydrate skin. Active nutrients and extracts work to brighten, smooth and even out skin tone to prime and create the perfect base for makeup application"

I was lucky enough to have been given this at a recent MeMeMe event that I went to but it only costs £15.00 for 30ml and compared to my usual £33.50 for 50ml of HydraQuench I will definitely buy this again as it will save me a lot of money and to be honest its better!

Chanel Mademoiselle dupe & GIVEAWAY!

So I know you have probably read about this on other blogs but I have only recently come across this!

I was at my mum's house the other day and I thought she was wearing Chanel Mademoiselle but when I asked her she just laughed and said its the Lidl version!
I have always been a massive Chanel Mademoiselle fan and I would always have it on my dressing table if I could afford to, so when I heard about the dupe I had to get it!

Chanel Mademoiselle costs £65.00 for 50ml and Suddenly madame glamour costs £3.99 for 50ml!

This does smell just like mademoiselle the only difference is that it doesn't last as long as Chanel's version - but when your only spending £3.99 on it you wouldn't expect it to!
The box is similar to Chanel's white and gold packaging and the fragrance liquid is the same kind of pink.
I am so happy that Lidl has made this as it is my favorite fragrance - and it is going to save me money!

I love this so much and I have bought two extra bottles to giveaway to two lucky followers. The giveaway will begin at 12.01am tomorrow and the two winners will be announced on the 1st November!

MeMeMe Parties Day

Today I went to a MeMeMe Parties day. MeMeMe cosmetics are starting to do parties at home - the same kind of thing as Virgin Vie, Ann summers and Jamie Oliver but MeMeMe parties are better!
Currently you can buy MeMeMe in Superdrug and on the MeMeMe website, their products are amazing, they are the same or maybe even better than high end brands but they are a lot cheaper.
The reason I went to the party day today was because I am hoping to join MeMeMe and become a "Brand Angel" - This means I will be organising parties for people in the comfort of their own home!
Here are a few pictures of their products.....

Seventh Heaven - moisturising face base £15.00

cosmetics mirror £3.50

Goddess Rocks - £12.50
Blush Me! Blush box - £8.50 each

Long Wear Satin Lip Cream - £8.50 - currently £6.50! This one is Pashmina Pink
Angels with halos - Skin illuminator - £9.99

When we got to the event we were each given goody bags - here is what we got in them. I will be reviewing these once I have used them for a while.

2012/2013 brochure's

Seventh heaven moisturising facebase

Light Me up lipgloss

Nail collection long lasting gloss - in Sensuous

Nail file

This all came in one of the MeMeMe bags which are also sooo pretty! I am super excited to try the Seventh Heaven moisturiser as I cannot really afford to buy my usual Clarins hydra-quench at the moment and seventh heaven is currently one of their best sellers, it smells like citrus - Amazing!

As you may know from my previous posts I am in love with this brand. All of the products are such good quality! If you haven't already you must get onto their website and have a look at some of their other amazing items!

Cha Cha Tint & Sun Beam

So this morning when I remembered that INSTYLE magazine were giving away Benefit's Benetint, sun beam and cha cha tint, I ran to the phone and called the other half and asked him to pick me some up!
I got cha cha tint and sun beam as I have already had Benetint so wanted to try the newer ones.

They are sample sizes (4ml). I am looking forward to trying these as I am a big fan of Benefit's products.
The InStyle magazine is  £3.80 but in TESCO it is £2.50 - Bargain!! When I got mine this morning they were all in stock but I imagine these will be flying off the shelves.
Also you can get a mini BADgal lash mascara by taking the page into a benefit beauty bar by the 01/11/12!

Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick

YSL Rouge Pur Pure Satin - 49 Tropical Pink

Today whilst tidying up I came across this little gem! This was one of my first YSL lipstick purchases - it's from the rouge pur pure satin collection. I love the colour of this is really bright pink almost neon pink!
I used to wear this all the time and when I found it today wasn't sure if I would ever wear it again as it is just so bright, so I started experimenting with it and found if I just dabbed it on it gave a really nice colour which wasn't too crazy bright.
After wearing it today I have fallen in love with it again. These lipsticks are so well pigmented and are really long lasting they are also moisturising - its very rare you get all of this in a lipstick!

 - when I put this on my hand it did the colour no justice so i had to do it on a tissue!

Dont forget there are a couple of days left on my September Giveaway!

These boots were made for walking!

Seeing as its getting so cold I went out to buy some winter boots!
I went to a few shops but as I have to buy Wide-Fit boots I didn't have much luck. When I went into NEW LOOK I noticed they have a great range of Widefit shoes and boots! So I picked up these and I think they were quite a bagain at £24.99 - they are super comfy and I am hoping they will last me through winter!
As much as I hate winter weather I love winter clothes - big chunky knitwear, skinny jeans and boots!

My daughters Nanny also treated her to some winter woolies too! I think she likes her hat the most!

Have you started a bit of winter shopping? Link below if you have blogged about some!

Oh and - there are two days left on my give-away - so get entering!
