Happy New Year | 2015!

Happy New Year Everyone! I thought I'd start the New Year with a little goal for myself! I have made a list below of all of the products I hope to have owned by the end of 2015!

Try making your own and leave me your links I'd love to see your lists!

2015 wishes

Soap & Glory

Hello beautiful people, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I had an amazing one as it is the first year that my daughter has understood what's going on!

Since Christmas I think I have had a bath every night, which is strange for me as I'm more of a shower person. The reason I have found a new love for baths is due to being spoilt with lots of Soap and Glory products. I always forget how much I love the Soap and Glory products, they are amazing, smell incredible and to top it off they aren't ridiculously expensive! I'm also a sucker for the packaging which is very cutesy and humorous.

I highly recommend Soap and Glory for all ages. I have sensitive skin yet Soap and Glory doesn't irritate my skin at all. The products are usually on 3for2 at Boots.

Nails Inc | The Ultimate Accessory Gift Set

Good Evening!

It was recently my 22nd Birthday and one of the presents I received was this Nails Inc Gift set from my lovely big sister! I thought I would share it with you as Christmas is approaching quickly and I think it's a great gift.

In the set you get 7 polishes, one of which is a glitter, five beautiful christmassy colours, a top coat and a nail file. I personally think all of these are lovely colours which is unusual as in most sets there are normally one or two colours that aren't so great!

1| Kings Road | Full Size £12.00

This is my favourite. It is one of the Nails Inc "Foil" textured polishes. This is a beautiful rose gold shade, I have been looking for a rose gold polish for ages but I have found some are too pink and some too metallic.  Kings Road is the perfect mix of both. It only takes two coats and it’s completely opaque.

2| St Ann's Lane | Limited edition (For this giftset)

This is a really pretty dusky pink colour. I love this as an every day natural colour.

3| Old Bond Street | Limited edition - Comes in the gel effect

This is a stunning purple/blue colour. This bold colour would give a great pop of colour to a plain outfit. It takes about three coats to make it opaque.

4| Tate | Full Size £11.00

This is a bold classic red colour. I think this is the perfect festive colour for Christmas. It is hard to find a classic red that is as chip resistant as this. It only takes two coats for it to be opaque.

5| Horseferry Road | Limited edition (For this giftset)

This colour looks black in certain lights but it has dark red undertones. I don't tend to like black polishes but the red in this makes it less harsh against the skin.

6| Derby Gate | Limited edition (For this giftset)

This is a pink chunky glitter polish. This looks great on top of colours, especially on top of Horseferry Road and Kings Road from this collection.

7| Caviar Topcoat | £15.00

This is dry in 45 seconds.  It makes your polish more chip resistant and is "enriched with caviar extract for a wet look professional finish"

Overall,  I love all of these colours and will get a lot of use out of them. I have always been a big Nails Inc fan and personally prefer them to OPI. The prices are quite high but I think they are worth it.  They last on my nails without chipping a lot longer than cheaper brands.

If you are looking for a more affordable polish that still has a great colour range I would recommend BarryM polishes.

Favourite | Winter Lip Colours

Hello my lovelies. Today I've decided to do a post containing my favourite lip colours to wear in the Winter. There are a mix of reds and nudes, I notice I start wearing a lot more daring colours in winter compared to summer.

Rimmel Lasting Finish  By Kate | Colour 107 | £5.49

This is one of my all time favorite reds, its a very flattering dark matte red. This lipstick lasts for hours without needing to touch up. Sometimes I will use my MAC lip liner in the colour Cherry with this but most of the time I don't use a liner.

Models Co Party Proof Lipstick | Colour Kitty | £12.00

This is a really nice creamy formula that feels really moisturising on the lips, it's a brown-y Pink-y nude colour. I got this in one of my Birchboxes, it's a really nice everyday lipstick. I tend to grab this one if i'm in a rush as you don't need a mirror to apply it.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture | Colour 28 rose boheme | £25.00

I love the YSL lipsticks, I am a sucker for pretty packaging but their formula is beautiful as well. The Rouge pur couture collection of lipsticks are very moisturising. This colour is a lovely plum shade with a slight sheen to it.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss | Colour Afternoon Tea | £4.99

I first bought this gloss because it was Tanya Burrs and to be honest wasn't expecting it to be great, but after trying it I was pleasantly surprised, it is a lovely formula something you'd expect from a more expensive brand. The colour lasts a good amount of time. This one is one of my favourites it's a lovely nude, a your lips but better sort of colour. I wear this all the time and will definitely be trying some more from her collection.

Rimmel Apocalips | Colour Big Bang | £6.49

This is a liquid lipstick and this probably has the longest lasting power out of all of these lipsticks, it's a beautiful vibrant red that once on your lips it almost stains them, so you can eat and drink and this stuff won't budge! At £6.49 you can't really go wrong, plus it comes in 13 lovely shades!

Current Everyday Eyeshadows | MAC

Hi Guys! For the past couple of months I've been going through phases with my eye-shadows. I will either use my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette or my MAC shadows. I thought I would show you my favorite MAC shadows for everyday wear.

Vanilla
Description - a “peachy-ivory with reflects. This is just a really nice matte beige colour. I like to use this under the brow bone.

Naked Lunch
Description - a warm, peach-beige with a frost finish. If I'm having a natural make up day i like this all across the lid. Its the only MAC shadow I've hit pan on and re-purchased!

Shroom
Description - is soft, light beige with a hint of warmth and a lightly frosted finish. I use this colour on the inner corner of my eyes and occasionally i'll use it as a brow bone highlighter.

Era
Description - is a dark beige/ light brown with a champagne sheen. I like to use this through the crease to add a bit more depth.

Wood Winked
Description - Golden bronze colour with a warm orange undertone. I like to use this all over my lid or just through the crease, it has an amazing colour payoff. This colour is great for blue eyes the orange tones really bring out the blue but i think this colour would look great on anyone.

Sable
Description - is a bronze with plum undertones and a frost finish. This is one of my favorite shadows, the shadow is very creamy and easy to blend. The colour is so versatile and has great pigmentation.
